WATCH- Suryakumar Yadav shares sweets with media persons after birth of his daughter; he and wife Devisha reveal the name

Suryakumar Yadav had captained MI in their recent game against LSG in IPL 2026.

India’s T20I captain and Mumbai Indians vice-captain Suryakumar Yadav and his wife Devisha welcomed a baby daughter on May 7. The pair, who have been married since July 2016, hosted a baby shower in March of this year to commemorate the impending arrival.

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav arrived in Raipur to link up with the Mumbai Indians team for their clash against RCB on May 10, 2026. He was seen meeting with the media persons at the airport and was distributing sweets amongst them.

“Yeh lo, aap log khaana yeh. You guys, please eat it," Suryakumar said.

The couple also shared a photo with the little one on Instagram and revealed the name of their daughter as well.

Suryakumar's availability for the match was called into question because he stayed in Mumbai while the MI team traveled to Raipur for their crucial match against RCB. With just 195 runs from 10 games, Suryakumar hasn't had the ideal season. 

MI are in the eighth spot on the IPL 2026 points table with 3 wins from 10 games and 6 points to their name.
