Sahibzada Farhan’s documentary, titled "Hero in the Making", was released after the Asia Cup 2025.
Not the one to mince his words, legendary India opener Virender Sehwag has taken a brutal swipe at Pakistan batter Sahibzada Farhan over the latter’s much-talked-about documentary.
In a video shared by Fever FM on Instagram, Sehwag mocked Farhan’s documentary after smashing three sixes off Jasprit Bumrah during the Asia Cup 2025, saying that there should be a web series on him for the way he dominated Pakistani bowlers during his playing days.
"According to him, he smashed three sixes, and that was enough for a full documentary. I joked that by that logic, I should have a whole web series for scoring 300, 254, and 100 runs. You didn’t dominate every bowler, but you made a documentary on just three sixes. I guess that’s an art, a special kind of talent — but maybe don’t show off that talent too much," Sehwag said in the viral clip.
Sahibzada Farhan’s documentary, titled "Hero in the Making", was released in November last year. It highlighted his performance during the continental event, with a specific emphasis on his feat of hitting three sixes off Bumrah.
The right-hander had amassed 217 runs in the competition and looked confident against India’s ace pacer, even though Pakistan ended up losing all three matches against their arch-rivals, including the title clash.
However, in the recent ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match against India, Farhan bagged a four-ball duck. He was dismissed by Hardik Pandya in the very first over of the chase as Pakistan once against lost to the traditional rivals.
