Maaz Sadaqat took 2 wickets and made 79* as Pakistan thrashed India A by 8 wickets.
This was despite 45 by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and 35 by Naman Dhir, as two wickets each by Saad Masood and Maaz Sadaqat ensured India didn’t get much on the board.
In reply, Maaz Sadaqat hammered 79*in 47 balls to lead Pakistan Shaheens to an 8-wicket win in 13.2 overs.
They may also feel mistreated following a contentious incident that occurred during Pakistan’s chase. India A believed they had a breakthrough and an opening when opener Maaz Sadaqat, who was batting strongly and leading Pakistan to win, appeared to be cleanly caught by a boundary relay catch between Nehal Wadhera and Naman Dhir.
The batter was already leaving the field as India's players celebrated the wicket, but controversy erupted as the third umpire took a long time to review the replays before declaring the hitter not out.
As captain Jitesh Sharma and his players tried to figure out why Sadaqat hadn't been given out, it was a moment that produced a great deal of uncertainty and irritation in the Indian camp.

Under Law 19.5.2 of the ICC’s Playing Conditions for T20Is, updated in July this year, the rule reads as follows:
“19.5.2.1: … [The] fielder may then jump from outside the boundary to make contact with the ball whilst airborne. After making contact with the ball once airborne, all subsequent contact with the ground by that fielder, until the ball becomes dead, must be within the field of play. Any subsequent contact with the ground outside the boundary by that fielder during that delivery, whether or not in contact with the ball, will result in a boundary being scored.”
It seems the TV umpire misinterpreted the rule. The rule only applies after a second airborne contact has been initiated with the ball.
If Wadhera had thrown the ball into the air for himself, leapt to get airborne again, thrown it to Dhir, and then landed outside the boundary, a six would have been appropriate.
However, because Wadhera never made contact with the ball after grounding himself beyond the boundary, as required by this clause, the ball cannot also be considered grounded beyond the boundary. Since he released it after his initial touch, the ball remained in play, and Dhir's catch was clean and lawful.
Wadhera was never in control of the ball after making contact with the boundary beyond the ropes, and hence became irrelevant to the game once he transferred the ball to Dhir to complete the relay catch.
