Yuvraj Singh was part of India's 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup winning teams.
Yuvraj played 40 Tests, 304 ODIs, and 58 T20Is for Team India from 2000 to 2017 and amassed over 11,000 runs while also dismissing 148 batters across formats, in contrast to his father's incredibly brief international career.
He was a member of Indian teams that won the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007 and the 2011 ODI World Cup under MS Dhoni’s leadership.
In a video going viral on the internet, Yograj was asked about the best cricketer India has ever produced, and he said, “If you talk about all-rounders, then Kapil Dev. If you talk about batsmen, then you have Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, and Sourav Ganguly – all these guys – but I think Yuvi (Yuvraj) is topping everybody in my book."
“He would have played about 200 Test matches and maybe 200 centuries, which I thought… and he was capable of," he added.
He also stated that Yuvraj Singh treats Sachin Tendulkar as his elder brother.
“Yuvi usko (Sachin) ko apna bada bhai maanta hai, usko apna godfather maanta hai,” Yograj Singh said.
