WATCH- 14-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi celebrates Diwali; seen bursting crackers

Sooryavanshi celebrated the festival after Bihar's recent win over Arunachal Pradesh in Ranji Trophy.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is the youngest player to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Rajasthan Royals and who lit the IPL 2025 on fire, scoring more than 200 runs with a strike rate of over 200.

He was also the youngest to score a century in T20 cricket and in the IPL. Sooryavanshi also impressed one and all in the India U19 tour of Australia and also in the recent home series against the same opposition.

Bihar recently won by an innings and 165 runs in Ranji Trophy 2025-26, and as players went off the field, hundreds of fans stood behind the boundary ropes, singing "Jai ho Bihar ke lala!" The crowd roared when Sooryavanshi waved and folded his hands in appreciation for their support.

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals shared a video in which Sooryavanshi was spotted celebrating the festival of lights in his trademark energetic style on Monday, bursting crackers after Bihar’s emphatic Ranji Trophy win over Arunachal Pradesh.
