Ramiz's comment was caught by the broadcast audio and went viral across social media rather quickly.
Former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja grabbed headlines on Day 1 of the first Test between Pakistan and South Africa in Lahore with an off-microphone comment.
The remark was about Pakistan batter, Babar Azam, that was caught by the broadcast audio and went viral across social media rather quickly.
The incident unfolded on the first ball of the 49th over when Babar was batting on just 1. He was given out caught behind off Senuran Muthusamy. As the right-hander immediately opted for a review, Ramiz, who was on-air at the time, was heard saying: “yeh out hain, drama karega. (This is out, now he will be doing drama).”
While Ramiz’s comment was not on the commentary feed, it was clearly audible to the audience. The DRS ultimately proved to be Babar’s saviour as replays showed no edge, and the on-field call was reversed.

However, Babar Azam failed to make a mark in Pakistan’s first innings. He was dismissed LBW by Simon Harmer for 23 at the start of the third session.
Babar’s wicket reduced the hosts to 199/5, but the duo of Mohammad Rizwan (62*) and Salman Ali Agha (52*) ensured Pakistan ending the opening day without any more hiccup, reaching 313/5 at stumps.
Earlier in the day, Imam-ul-Haq (93) and Shan Masood (76) scored brilliant half-centuries for Pakistan.
