Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel responded to her widely shared video featuring renowned Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya. Due to his lack of full fitness, Hardik was left out of the squad for the forthcoming T20I series against Afghanistan.

At Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace, Ameesha Patel and Hardik Pandya were seen together. The actress was seen introducing the all-rounder to a few of her pals. She wrapped her hand around his shoulder in the footage of their encounter that went viral on social media.

When asked about the viral video by the paps, Ameesha gave a simple reaction and did not bother to offer an explanation as such.

"Bohot zyada viral hogaya. Abhi bas, main late ho rahi hoon. Chalo, bye (It has gone viral a lot. Enough now, I am getting late. Okay, bye)," she said and walked away.

The video was even posted by a user on X, which led to dating rumors. But Ameesha quickly retaliated against the user, putting an end to any conjecture.

She put up the tweet on her Instagram and responded: "So true ya. My god ur correct... truly romantic way my hand was on him. I don't know u, but surely u don't have a girl, even as a friend. It's time u do have one before posting hence on such things..."

Additionally, Hardik Pandya recently posted several photos of himself with his girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma, on his Instagram account, ending all suspicions and conjecture about the Bollywood actress.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya, who was out of cricket since IPL 2026, will be back in action as he has been named in the India A squad for the one-day games against Australia A. India A will play two multi-day games and three one-day games, with Puducherry hosting all five games.
