Ishan Kishan's 250 is the 12th joint highest individual score in Duleep Trophy history.
In the first innings of East Zone's match versus South Zone in the Duleep Trophy 2026 final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the 28-year-old left-handed batter from Jharkhand hit 250 runs off 301 balls before opting to retire hurt.
He hit 27 fours and 7 sixes in his knock and added 230 runs off 287 balls for the fifth wicket with Kumar Kushagra (101) and 140 runs off 180 balls for the sixth wicket with Anukul Roy (45).
Naman Ojha formerly held the record for the highest score by a wicketkeeper-batter in a Duleep Trophy match. Naman scored 217 runs off 348 balls in the 2014 Duleep Trophy encounter between Central Zone and North Zone at Mohali.
