Meanwhile, the women's 51kg (Flyweight) CWG champion revealed that she began boxing after seeing former India boxer Vijender Singh. Sakshi also revealed the amount of support she has gotten from star India cricketer Virat Kohli, who also acted as her sponsor, through the Virat Kohli Foundation.

"I started boxing after watching Vijender Singh, but in my journey, Virat Kohli has also supported me a lot. He has been my sponsor. So, I would like to thank him too,” Sakshi Chaudhary told IANS.

She continued by saying that Kohli also inspired her with straightforward counsel, telling her to maintain her composure, resist pressure, and concentrate solely on her performance inside the ring.
