Indian cricket team returned home after the Sri Lanka tour ended on July 29. The Shikhar Dhawan-led side defeated Sri Lanka in the ODI series by 2-1 and lost the T20I series by 2-1.
Team India had to play the T20I series without their first-preferred players after the COVID-19 outbreak in the camp. Krunal Pandya was tested positive for COVID-19 and eight players who came in his contact were also isolated.

Deepak Chahar, who was among the eight players, posted a video on Instagram on their return to India. Apart from him, Dhawan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar also featured in the video which shows them making a stylish entry.
"Walk back home," wrote Chahar and he added the title song of Akshay Kumar-starrer Boss movie in the clip.
India won't be playing any more T20I matches before the T20 World Cup 2021. Their next series is against England which a five-match Test encounter and the squad is already in the United Kingdom since June.
