India defeated Sri Lanka by 3 wickets in the second ODI with five deliveries left.
Sri Lanka's head coach Mickey Arthur lost his cool after their defeat against India in the second ODI on Tuesday (July 20). Sri Lanka were in a better position in the game but they lost control of the match after Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar put up a match-winning partnership.
India chased down the target of 276 with 3 wickets in hand and 5 balls to spare. They were on a score of 193-7 and it looked like Sri Lanka will be back in the series with their terrific bowling performance.
But Chahar and Bhuvneshwar bailed India out of trouble as they posted an unbeaten partnership of 84 runs. Arthur saw the game slipping away from their hand in the last ten overs and he couldn't hide his emotions.
On every misfield, the head coach was visibly irked and after the match, he had a heated discussion with captain Dasun Shanaka which was caught on camera.
Now after two consecutive losses, Sri Lanka have lost the three-match series. The third ODI between India and Sri Lanka will be played on July 23.
