Rishabh Pant got out on a first-ball duck in the third ODI against South Africa in Cape Town.
India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has often come under criticism for his untimely rash shots. He was once again dismissed playing a risky shot in the third ODI against South Africa at Newlands.
Pant had scored a half-century in the second ODI and the visitors were expecting him to play a similar knock to avoid a whitewash. However, the youngster gifted his wicket which left former India captain Virat Kohli furious.

India were chasing 288 runs in the final ODI in Cape Town, and Pant walked out to bat when the score was 116/2. Kohli and Pant's partnership could have put the tourists in a comfortable position to chase down the target.
However, Pant, in the 23rd over bowled by Andile Phehlukwayo, tried to go for an unnecessary big hit and got caught by Sisanda Magala. Kohli gave him a stare as he walked back to the dressing room.
