Virat Kohli had a go at the South African captain Dean Elgar during their run-chase.
India captain Virat Kohli gave South African skipper Dean Elgar a hard time in the middle during their run-chase on Day 3 of the third Test. The series is already heated up with verbal spats between players from both sides in previous matches.
In the series decider, South Africa are going after a target of 212 runs and they lost 2 wickets on 101 runs at the end of Day 3. Before Elgar got out to Jasprit Bumrah, Kohli had a go at him.
Kohli confronted the South African captain at the end of the 12th over and said, "Unbelievable. Just after a Man of the Match performance in the last game, running from Jasprit...
"Chirping for 13 years Dean, you think you gonna keep me quiet? We all know who wanted the match called off in Joburg 2018. We all know that," Kohli said, as caught in the stump mic.
Day 3 also saw a controversial DRS decision going in favor of Elgar which riled up the Indian cricketers. The hosts still need 111 runs more runs to win and India will have to pick up quick wickets to ensure their first-ever Test series win in South Africa.
