India won the T20I series 3-0 against West Indies.
India defeated West Indies by 17 runs in the third and final T20I at Eden Gardens on Sunday, thanks to Suryakumar Yadav's 65-run knock and spirited bowling performance. This helped India pocket the three-match series 3-0, and they had won the ODI series 3-0 as well.
Apart from the brilliant batting from Suryakumar and Venkatesh Iyer, Indian bowlers did well also with Harshal Patel finishing with three wickets, while Iyer took two.
Shardul Thakur bowled amazingly well in the death and spoke of how every Indian bowler is prepared to bowl in the death overs, as this is a huge responsibility.
"I think so. I have done it in the IPL for CSK for the last four years. Playing for India is a greater responsibility and five months before the World Cup, we all have to be ready as a bowler to bowl in the death. You have to be ready to use your variations, you are going to go for runs but one six or four shouldn't play on your mind. We have to be mentally tough and think about the next delivery," Shardul told host broadcaster Star Sports.
"You have to follow a process. The basic idea was to bowl wide yorkers from the end I was bowling, maybe slower yorkers or normal yorkers," he added.

The hosts added 86 runs to their total in the final five overs, pushing the total past 180 runs. Iyer and Suryakumar Yadav shared a 91-run partnership for the 5th wicket in just 37 balls.
The next assignment for indian team will be a three-match T20I series and two-Test series against Sri Lanka, which begins on Thursday.
