Virat Kohli has now registered 15 ducks in One-Day International cricket for India.
India batter Virat Kohli was dismissed on a golden duck in the third ODI against West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday (February 11). West Indies pacer Alzarri Joseph once again got the wicket of Kohli in the ongoing series.
It was a soft dismissal as Kohli recorded his 15th duck in the ODIs. He has now surpassed former cricketer Virender Sehwag and Suresh Raina among India's batters (from no. 1-7) with most ducks in ODIs.
Kohli now stands fourth in the unwanted list topped by Sachin Tendulkar (20), followed by Yuvraj Singh (18) and Sourav Ganguly (16).
Overall, the 33-year-old is at 45th rank in the list of most ODI ducks. The list has former Sri Lanka batter Sanath Jayasuriya at top with 34 ducks.
Fans were disappointed with another batting failure of Kohli, but they stood by him. The wait of his 71st international century doesn't look like ending anytime soon with such poor batting form.
The ex-India captain has scored 8 runs in the first ODI and 18 runs in the second match of the series. He has smashed a couple of ODIs half-centuries this year earlier in South Africa.
