Team India are leading the three-match ODI series 1-0.
Notably, Rahul didn’t feature in the ODI series opener on Sunday (February 6) due to his sister's wedding and he is available for the remaining two ODIs and three T20Is of the white-ball series.
On the other hand, Agarwal was drafted into the squad after three Indian batters namely Shikhar Dhawan, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Shreyas Iyer contracted COVID-19 ahead of the 50-over series. Mayank couldn’t feature in the first ODI as he was in quarantine before entering the team bubble.
Reserve seamer Navdeep Saini was another player to test positive for COVID-19 and he has now joined the squad after serving the isolation.
Taking to Twitter, BCCI shared pictures of Rahul, Agarwal and Saini sweating it out in the nets.
“Look who are here! The trio has joined the squad and sweated it out in the practice session today,” BCCI wrote in the caption.
Coming to the ODI series, India thrashed West Indies by six wickets in Ahmedabad to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
The second ODI will be played at the same venue on Wednesday (February 9).
