Former India captain, Rahul Dravid turned 50 on January 11. One of the greatest Indian cricketers of all-time, Dravid scored over 24,000 runs with 48 hundreds in international cricket in his 15-year-long career at the highest level.

He later won the U-19 World Cup as India coach, while also handling India A's coaching duties successfully, before being appointed as the head coach of Team India after the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup.

While the results for the senior India Men's team under his coaching have left a lot to be desired, there is still hope of the legendary cricketer turning around the fortunes of the side in 2023, with the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a possible WTC Final, Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup lined up.

Currently, Dravid and India are engaged in a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka and the hosts traveled to Kolkata on Wednesday, for the second ODI on Thursday, having won the first game by 67 runs in Guwahati.

As the Indian team arrived at their hotel in Kolkata, Dravid cut a cake in presence of the players and support staff members, before being cake-smashed by Ishan Kishan.
