IND v SL 2023: WATCH- ‘Bhauu…bahut saara pyaar’- Suryakumar’s reply to Kohli’s Insta story; celebrates his 3rd T20I ton

India won the three-match T20I series 2-1.

India batter Suryakumar Yadav was the man of the moment as India wrapped up the third T20I against Sri Lanka with a massive 91-run win in Rajkot with the Mumbaikar scoring his third century in the format.

India posted 228/5 with Suryakumar Yadav enthralling fans with 112* in 51 balls with 9 sixes and 7 fours, while Shubman Gill (46) and Rahul Tripathi (35) also contributed. In reply, Sri Lankan batters crumbled under the pressure as Arshdeep Singh took 3/20, while Hardik Pandya, Umran Malik, and Yuzvendra Chahal took 2 wickets apiece.

India also won the series 2-1 and Suryakumar Yadav was named the Player of the Match, while Akshar Patel was given the Player of the Series award.

Post the match, BCCI shared a video featuring Suryakumar Yadav as he made way his way back into the pavilion shaking hands with the fans. Then he is shown checking his social media on the phone.

And he notices a special Instagram story posted for him by Virat Kohli to which Suryakumar Yadav was ecstatic and replies by posing: “Bhauuuu… bahut saara pyar… See you soon”.  

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul will link up with the Indian team for the three-match ODI series which begins on January 10 in Guwahati.

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav was also seen acknowledging the fans when he boarded the bus and was welcomed at the team hotel with cakes to celebrate his third T20I ton.
