Indian batter Virat Kohli recently played his 100th Test match as India beat Sri Lanka in the first Test of the two-match series in Mohali by an innings and 222 runs. Kohli managed only 45 runs in the only innings India batted.

Kohli may have not been able to convert his start into a big score on the occasion, but the mercurial player made sure that he gifts a t-shirt to Dharmveer Pal, who is known as the unofficial 12th man of the Indian team.

29-year-old Dharmveer Pal has become known as India's most loyal cricket fan, thanks to his love for the game. He contracted polio at eight months of age, which didn’t stop him from following his passion for cricket.

He revealed in an old interview that BCCI had given him accreditation in 2006 and Yuvraj Singh had promised that the Indian team will sponsor him for every match. He was often seen sitting near the boundary ropes and cheering for the Indian team.

However, his days of sitting near boundary ropes came to an end in 2017, when BCCI issued a circular to all state associations to not give accreditation to differently-abled boys to be ball-boys. It was said that he was free to sit in the stands and cheer for India. This came after some criticism of a physically handicapped person being a ball boy.

As the Indian team was leaving Mohali, Virat Kohli was seen presenting a jersey to Dharamveer before running back and boarding the bus.

Wow it's great day my life @imVkohli  he's 100th test match he's gifts me t shirts wow #viratkholi #ViratKohli100thTest #KingKohli,” Pal himself tweeted the video.

Ravindra Jadeja was named the Player of the Match for knock of 175* and 9 wickets in the game, including a five-wicket haul.
