In the second match of the ongoing T20I series at Dharamsala, Fernando produced a spectacular catch to get rid of India batter Sanju Samson.
Samson was dominating Lahiru Kumara in the 13th over of India’s innings, hitting the Lankan pacer for three sixes and one four in his first five deliveries but he got out on the last delivery for 25-ball 39.
Samson went hard on the drive, got a thick edge that seemed like going over Binura Fernando at deep slip. But Fernando timed his jump to perfection to pluck the ball out of thin air.
