Indian opener KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma, who is playing his 400th T20I, the first Indian to do so, began hammering the South African bowlers from the start, especially the pacers leaked runs badly.
While there was some terrific action by both batters, something unusual brought the game to a halt at the end of 7th over as there was a snake spotted casually crawling in the field. The umpires made the decision to stop the game and the ground staff rushed in the middle to catch the reptile.

Apart from the audience watching in the ground and on the TV, commentators Harsha Bhogle and former West Indies cricket Ian Bishop were also perplexed and reacted to the presence of the snake on the Guwahati ground.
Not only they were confused, even the fans watching on TV reacted hilariously to the presence of the snake.
