India defeated New Zealand by 7 wickets in the second T20I to secure the series.
New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham broke his bat during the second T20I against India on Friday (November 19). He is known for big hits, but this time only a piece of his willow was in the air.
The incident happened during the 18th over of New Zealand's innings when Neesham tried to slog India's pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar for a six. Unfortunately, the toe end of the bat couldn't survive the blow and could be seen flying in the air.

Except for the bowler, everyone else on the field had their eyes on the broken part of the bat. Neesham walked down the pitch to collect it and his teammates, Tim Southee and Trent Boult had a smile on their face.

India secured the second T20I by seven wickets as they chased down 154 runs in 17.2 overs. New Zealand had posted a below-par score of 153/6 in a venue that expected a heavy dew.
KL Rahul (65 off 49) and captain Rohit Sharma (55 off 36) posting 117 runs for the opening wicket made the task easy for the Indians. They now have a 2-0 lead in the series with one more match to go.
