Suryakumar Yadav is currently leading India in the T20I series against Australia.
Former Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan has given the "360-degree" tag, which was originally associated with South African batting legend AB de Villiers, to Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav.
Suryakumar is known as one of the most influential batters in T20I cricket. His batting approach has invited comparisons with De Villiers for his ability to play his shots all around the ground.
Notably, De Villiers is known as the “Mr 360” for his ability to hit the ball in all directions in the ground and at all the sides of the wicket. Now, Suryakumar’s batting style reminds many of the Proteas batting great.

Zaheer Khan was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz: “He (Suryakumar) is certainly the most deserving of the lot right now, from whatever are seeing of players going around right now. He has tried to replicate that, isn't it?”
He added, “You have seen those sixes over point and those shots to third man, those ramp shots, and those shots to the fine leg area. All those kinds of aspects, he is certainly the most deserving candidate when it comes to AB de Villiers' 360-degree tag.”
Notably, Suryakumar is currently leading Team India in the ongoing five-match T20I series against Australia at home. India is currently leading the T20I series at 2-1 with the fourth game set to be played on December 1 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur.
Suryakumar has smashed 138 runs in the first three T20I games against Australia while leading the Men in Blue for the first time.
