India and Australia will compete in a three-match T20I series.
Team India members arrived in batches in Chandigarh ahead of the first T20I against Australia on Tuesday (September 20). The two nations will compete in a three-match series as part of their preparations for the T20 World Cup 2022 in October-November.
While Harshal Patel, Dinesh Karthik, birthday boy R Ashwin and head coach Rahul Dravid arrived on Saturday afternoon, rest of the team members including captain Rohit Sharma as well as batting superstar Virat Kohli reached Chandigarh in the evening.
The first match of the T20I series will be played in Mohali, while Nagpur and Hyderabad will host the second and third T20I on September 23 and 25 respectively. India will be going into the series with nearly the same squad as the T20 World Cup with the exception of Arshdeep Singh, who's at the National Cricket Academy for conditioning work.
