A Michael Clarke century (130) had led Australia to 380 batting first. India pummeled the Australia bowling to the ground with Tendulkar (81) and Kohli (107) tiring them and then Dhoni came in and ripped them to shreds with 224 in 265 balls with 24 fours and 6 sixes. Bhuvneshwar made 38 and aided Dhoni well, who became the first Indian keeper to make a double century in Tests.

148 v Pakistan, 2005
This was MS Dhoni’s fifth ODI which came against Pakistan and was played at Vizag in 2005. India chose to bat first and though lost Tendulkar for 2 runs, Sehwag (74 in 40 balls) took charge in partnership with MS Dhoni, who was promoted by captain Sourav Ganguly to no.3 spot.

The duo added 96 runs in just 10 overs of madness and Dhoni continued his merry way to his first-ever ODI century, which came in 88 balls. He made 148 runs in 123 balls with 15 fours and 4 sixes, as India made 356/9.
This was Dhoni at his belligerent best, even managing to rile up Shahid Afridi, who let out some choicest words to him after Dhoni smacked him over long-off for a huge six.

IPL 2020: WATCH - MS Dhoni smashes a hundred in the practice match with CSK teammates
India lost Tendulkar for 2 and Sehwag for 39, but Dhoni kept smacking the Lankan bowlers everywhere in the Jaipur stadium. He got support from Dravid (28) and single-handedly took the Indian team to the victory making 183* in 145 balls, batting at no.3 with 15 fours and 10 sixes.
India won by 6 wickets and four overs to spare.

Justin Langer wishes to have MS Dhoni-like finisher in Australia’s white-ball team
Dhoni was in top form and even got riled up after a collision with Australia pacer Mitchell Johnson. This resulted in Dhoni’s bludgeoning 124 in 107 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes, becoming the first Indian captain to score an ODI century against Australia.
India made 354/7 and kept Australia to 255, winning the match by 99 runs.

IPL 2020: WATCH - MS Dhoni goes 6,6,6,6,6 during CSK practice session
The match was the 1st ODI between India and Pakistan and was played at the Chepauk in Chennai. Pakistan opted to field first and Junaid Khan picked 4/43, as India’s top order crumbled losing the first five wickets for single-digit scores.
Suresh Raina made 43 runs, but the innings that salvaged India’s reputation a bit came from captain Dhoni, who made 113* in 125 balls with 7 fours and 3 sixes. And with the help of Ashwin (31*) took India to a respectable 227/6.
It was an amazing knock under severe pressure from Dhoni as he had to bat with the tail-end for most of the innings after Raina fell in the 33rd over. He was named the Man of the Match for his innings, despite India losing the match by 6 wickets.
