India A wins third match by 75 runs to clean sweep series 3-0 against NZ A; Kaul takes four wickets

India A won the third match by 75 runs of the unofficial ODI series to make a clean sweep against host New Zealand A.

India A captain Manish Pandey won the toss and chose to bat, as the decision that aided India A in putting up 275/8 in 50 overs. The main contributors were Anmolpreet Singh (71), Ankeet Bawane (48) and Vijay Shankar (42); with contributions from Ishan Kishan (39) and Akshar Patel (31).

Seth Rance picked 3/49 and Lockie Ferguson picked 2/20 for New Zealand A.

In the chase, NZ A’s Tim Seifert scored 55 and Daryl Mitchell scored 30, while Hamish Rutherford (27) and R Ravindra (21) got starts but failed to capitalize further.

New Zealand A was never in the game after Siddharth Kaul picked 4/37 and K Gowtham picked 2/40, to take wickets at regular intervals.

With this win, India A whitewashed New Zealand A in the series by winning all the three matches.

For India, Vijay Shankar top-scored for India A with 188 runs in three matches and Siddharth Kaul picked 7 wickets in the series.
