CPL 2020: Match 20, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots v Guyana Amazon Warriors - Fantasy Cricket Tips, Playing XIs, Pitch and Weather

Fantasy Tips for the 20th Match of CPL 2020.

By Shubham - 29 Aug, 2020

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Guyana Amazon Warriors, both the teams are in a pretty much same position as both of them have lost four games up till now. The only difference is that the Amazon Warriors have played one game extra than the Nevis Patriots.

Both the teams are struggling in this year’s CPL and they need to get some wins before they run of time. Half of the tournament is over and it would be better if both these teams push the accelerator and start winning games. Both the teams have lost their previous game at this venue which makes life even more difficult for them.

It is almost a do or die situation for both the teams so it would be interesting to watch as to who comes up on top on Sunday.

Pitch and Weather Report

The weather is not going to be great for cricket on Sunday as is might be cloudy and there is a high chance of rain at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.

The pitches at this venue are completely tiring out after almost a dozen of matches have been played at this venue. It is going to be a low-scoring game as no team has crossed the 155-run mark at this venue in this year’s CPL.

Team News

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots lost to Mohammad Nabi rather than losing to the whole team. They were reduced to 11-4 in the powerplay. Chris Lynn is completely out of form which is a sign of concern for the Nevis Patriots.

Their wicket-keeper Denesh Ramdin hasn’t done anything significant in this tournament. The bowlers are doing a decent job but they are not getting support from the batsmen. Rayad Emrit, at the age of 39 is doing a brilliant job with the ball but his team needs to support him if they want to reach the semis.

Guyana Amazon Warriors

Everybody was talking about their young core when the tournament started but the reality is that this young core has failed to deliver. Shimron Hetmyer who started of really well hasn’t been able to score a half-century in the last four games.

Nicholas Pooran who is a key player of this team has disappointed with his low scores. Sherfane Rutherford too hasn’t done anything up till now. Imran Tahir is trying his best will the ball but the batting is letting them down.

All their batsmen need to get back in form pretty quickly or else they won’t reach the semis this year.
