Rishabh Pant was star of the final ODI against England.
India’s young wicketkeeper-batter, Rishabh Pant, has yet again hogged the limelight with his stunning effort with the bat in the third and final ODI between England and India at Old Trafford on July 17.
The left-hander smashed his maiden ODI hundred, 125* off 113 balls, to help Team India successfully chase down the target of 260 runs to beat England by 5 wickets in the third and final ODI on Sunday.
With this win, India clinched the ODI series 2-1 against England at Old Trafford.
Pant hammered 16 fours and 2 sixes during his entertaining knock and went on to win the Player of the Match award for his efforts with the bat against England on Sunday. He had added 133 runs with Hardik Pandya (71) for the fifth wicket to rescue India from 72/4.
Well, Pant was the star of the match, so it was obvious to be followed by the cameraman, and he had to ask him to take the lens away from him.
When Pant and Ravindra Jadeja were making their way back to the change room, the cameraman was following him closely and he asked him to stop.
Pant asked the cameraman: “Bas karo bas (You can stop now)”, but Jadeja wanted the focus to continue on Pant and told the cameraman: “Zoom karo zoom (Please zoom in).”
