Umran Malik conceded 56 runs in his four overs in the third T20I against England.
Both the youngsters had put on an exceptional show with the ball in the IPL 2022 and as a result, the Indian team management fast-tracked them into the set-up keeping the T20 World Cup 2022 in mind as well.
In the third T20I against England at Trent Bridge, Umran was smacked by the English batter all around the park. Although the speedster dismissed Jason Roy, he ended up conceding 56 runs in his 4 overs.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Chopra said that Umran has serious pace in his arsenal which no one can teach but added that he is still very raw to be playing at the highest level.
“Umran Malik has something that others don’t have - extreme pace. You can’t teach that to anyone. You can teach everything else - line and length, yorker, bouncer, slower ones. But you can’t teach someone how to bowl with speed. You are either born a pacer or born a medium-pacer."
“No doubt, he has the pace. But what I feel is that Umran Malik is not ready for international cricket as of now. It is very simple, he needs time. He hasn’t played a lot of cricket and so he is still raw," he said during the Q and A session.
The cricketer-turned-commentator further argued that Arshdeep was better suited given the variations he has in his arsenal.
Arshdeep is better prepared for international cricket. He has been playing consistently. He is a left-armer who nails those yorkers. He’s got the brains also, though he doesn’t have the pace. Experience counts for everything. Arshdeep, in my opinion, is a more complete bowler compared to Umran Malik,” he concluded.
