India and England are currently engaged in the first of the three-match T20I series at Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma opted to bat first after winning the toss as he provided the impetus to the innings first up scoring 24 in 14 balls. Ishan Kishan fell cheaply for 8 but Deepak Hooda (33), Suryakumar Yadav (39) and Hardik Pandya (51) helped India finish at 198/8.

Chris Jordan and Moeen Ali took two wickets each for England and ensured India did not go past the psychological mark of 200.

When England came out for the chase, new full-time skipper Jos Buttler was joined by Jason Roy. Buttler took over the white-ball captaincy from Eoin Morgan ahead of the India series after the latter announced retirement from international cricket.

It wasn't a memorable outing for Buttler though, as he was dismissed for a golden duck by Bhuvneshwar Kumar who went through his defence with an in-swinger.
