Sehwag had first copped criticism for his comments on Virat Kohli dancing during the Test.
Kohli was seen enjoying himself on the field doing some dance moves to celebrate an England wicket when Sehwag on air said that “Chammiya naach rhi hai”, a frowned term used for female dancers in the desi language.
This led to social media erupting and criticizing Sehwag for the language he had used.
Now that controversy had just died down a bit when another video of Virender Sehwag surfaced of him taking a dig at veteran England pacer James Anderson after he dropped Ravindra Jadeja's catch.
This incident took place in the 70th over of India's second innings when the 39-year-old English pacer dropped a catch. Ravindra Jadeja looked to nudge a length ball from Matthew Potts towards mid-wicket but a leading-edge went high to Anderson, who was stationed at short cover. He leapt and even got his hands to the ball but could not hold on to the opportunity.
Virender Sehwag who was doing commentary in Hindi at the time spoke about the missed opportunity and he called the pacer "burjurg” (a common term for old in Urdu/Hindi) and also went on to add that it could well prove to be a huge dropped chance in the context of the match.
