Stuart Broad was batting with Sam Billings when Richard Kettleborough scolded him.
The ongoing fifth Test between England and India at Edgbaston has been a host to many things. Apart from the even contest between bat and ball, the players of both sides have also been engaged in verbal banters.
If this was not enough, the match also saw English pacer Stuart Broad getting scolded by the umpire. It was during England’s first innings when the veteran seamer was batting with Sam Billings on Day 3 of the match.
In a video that has gone viral on the internet, umpire Richard Kettleborough can be heard asking Broad to "get on with the batting and shut up"

Kettleborough was also heard saying to Broad: "Let us do the umpiring and you do the batting, alright? Otherwise, you are going to get into trouble again. One for the over."
Broad, however, kept on chirping, which lead umpire to say, "Broady! Broady! Get on with the batting and shut up,”

Coming to the match, after India set England a target of 378 runs, the hosts went off the flyer and scored over 100 runs inside 20 overs. After openers got out, Joe Root (76*) and Jonny Bairstow (72*) committed carnage on Indian bowlers and scored runs easily.
At Stumps on Day 4, England was just 119 runs away from the win whereas India needs 7 wickets to script the history.
