India suffered collapse in both the innings of the third Test at Leeds.
India lost the third Test against England on Saturday (August 28) by an innings and 76 runs. The hosts have now leveled the series by 1-1 with two more matches in the five-match competition to go.
Former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has suggested India to bring in one more batsman in the side replacing a bowler to strengthen their batting line-up. India were bowled out for 78 runs in the first innings, and they lost 8 wickets in one session on Day 4 in the second innings.

"I think they will think on whether they will go ahead with this line-up or make-up of the side. Whether they are okay going ahead with five bowlers or change it and bring in an extra batsman for a bowler," he said after the Test match.
Gavaskar believes India can try a new batsman at number 6 and push Rishabh Pant down the order. Pant has been given many opportunities at number 6 but he failed to score.
India had started Day 4 with 215/2 on the scoreboard. But they collapsed in the morning session and lost the remaining 8 wickets for just 63 runs which led to a defeat.
Gavaskar pointed out the mistakes of Indian batsmen, especially Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane, and said, "England have bowled very well, but the batsmen were poking at deliveries."
Former India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar opines India should play four bowlers, although India skipper Kohli didn't hint at any changes for the upcoming match.
"We have to assess the pitch. It depends on the pitch. We have to take a decision based on that," Kohli said.
