England seamer Ollie Robinson revealed his 'simple' plan to Indian captain Virat Kohli, after picking up a five-wicket haul that helped the hosts to win the second Test at Headingley by an innings and 76 runs on day four and level the series.

Robinson, who took 2 for 16 in the first innings, finished with 5 for 65 in the second innings to take seven wickets for the match. He was also named the 'Man-of-the-Match' for his efforts.

One of Robinson's scalps in the second innings was Virat Kohli on 55 and he revealed how he kept things simple while bowling to one of the modern day greats. Kohli has faced trouble dealing with deliveries outside off-stump on the England tour and his troubles continued on Saturday.

"I keep learning and trying to be as good as possible. It's nice to get Kohli, after he got me for two fours in the over - it's a simple plan to Virat, fourth and fifth stump, get it to angle away, and hope he nicks it and he did," said Robinson in the post-match presentation.

With 23 wickets in his first four Tests for England, its been a fine start to his career, and Robinson reflected on the special feeling of winning a Test for the first time as well as getting the Man-of-the-Match award.

"It's a dream to be honest, to get a man of the match award in my first win for England. I enjoyed bowling here before, and it's nice to use the conditions here, so I'm happy to get a five-for here.

To bowl with Jimmy and learn from him is an honour. It has only improved my game," he added while crediting veteran pacer James Anderson for guiding him along.

The fourth Test starts on September 2 at The Oval and both the teams will be looking to take the lead with the series currently at 1-1.
