Jasprit Bumrah bowled a 10-ball over at James Anderson on day three.
The second Test at Lord's was quite a heated affair especially on day the final day with players from both teams having a few verbal exchanges before India bowled out England in two sessions to win the Test by 151 runs and go 1-0 up in the five-match series.
It all started in the closing stages of the third day when Jasprit Bumrah bowled a 10-ball over at James Anderson which included four no-balls. Bumrah ran in and bowled at speeds over 90 mph while hitting Anderson on the helmet and on the body in a over that took 15 minutes to complete.
Anderson eventually survived the over but was bowled for a duck by Mohammad Shami on the final ball of the day's play. Soon after, the 39-year-old England veteran was seen having few words with Bumrah and other Indian players while walking back to the pavilion. It was evident he was not happy at being peppered with short balls by the Indian speedster.
In a video on his YouTube channel, Ravichandran Ashwin discussed the incident with fielding coach R Sridhar and revealed what exactly happened in the middle.

Apparently, when Bumrah tried to have a word with Anderson after close of play, the England seamer allegedly told him that it was "cheating" on his part to be bowling at a much higher pace to him as compared to rest of the batters, suggesting that the Indian fast bowler wanted to hurt him more than take his wicket.
As per the subtitles of the YouTube video, Anderson said, "You bowl only 85 mph to the other batters, you are bowling 90 mph to me. This is cheating, I won't accept."
With three Test matches still to go, it will be interesting to see how this rivalry proceeds with Bumrah having won this round with his match-winning all-round contribution at Lord's. His 34* with the bat and three wickets with the ball played a huge role in India's victory.
