India needs 157 runs on Day 5 to win the first Test against England at Trent Bridge in Nottingham to go 1-0 up in this five-match Test series. Even though the tourists have lost in-form KL Rahul early, Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara are looking good as both batters are on 12 each.

Thus, the former India cricketer Aakash Chopra is expecting some important runs from skipper Virat Kohli who was dismissed on the first-ball duck by England pacer James Anderson.

Virat Kohli is a world-class player. He scored a first-ball duck in the first innings but he would want to score runs when the noise is more. Expecting crucial runs from him in the second innings,Chopra said in his latest YouTube video.

The cricketer-turned-commentator then talked about how the trio of James Anderson, Stuart Broad, and Ollie Robinson will be the key for England, and Sam Curran, on the other hand, will get minimal help from the surface as it has got better for batting.

According to the 43-year-old, the first hour of play will be crucial in deciding the game as, if India goes through this period losing just one or two wickets, they will be in the driver's seat to win the game.

Sam Curran won't be effective on this pitch. Whenever he gets to bowl, he will not find assistance from the pitch as it has flattened out. If India loses one or a maximum of two wickets in the first 17-18 overs, the game will be done. But if they lose 4-5 wickets, the game will be done against India,” he concluded.

Thus, it will be exciting to see how this Indian batting unit performs on Day 5 of this first Test match.
