Rain has played spoilsport on Day 2 and Day 3 of the ongoing Trent Bridge Test so far.
Trent Bridge, Nottingham is hosting the opening Test between England and India. In the first three day’s action so far, weather has played spoilsport on Day 2 and Day 3.
Karthik took to Twitter and uploaded a picture from the venue, which suggests that the fourth day’s play will be marred by the rain.
“Looks like rain will again play the role of spoiler today,” Karthik wrote in the caption of the picture with some clouds hovering in the background.
Coming to the Test match, India rode on KL Rahul’s 84 and Ravindra Jadeja’s 56 to post 278/10 in the first innings in reply to England’s 183 all-out.
The home team ended the third day, which was called off early due to rain at 25/0, still trailing the visitors by 70 runs. Rory Burns (11*) and Dominic Sibley (9*) are unbeaten in the middle.
