England's veteran pacer James Anderson is gearing up to take on India in the five-match Test series, starting from August 4. The speedster shared a clip on Instagram in which he can be seen bowling in the nets.
Apart from a smooth run-up and terrific finish, Anderson's haircut grabbed the attention in the post. "Only one thing to do on a cloudy Monday in Manchester ????????," he wrote on Instagram.
England's fast bowler Stuart Broad and Saqib Mahmood reacted to Anderson's hairdo. Mahmood wrote "Aggressive haircut!", while Broad commented, "Tight trim".
Anderson is currently the fourth-highest wicket-taker in the longest format of the game. He is the leading wicket-taker among the fast bowlers with 617 scalps from 162 Test matches.
Recently, the Englishman became only the 14th bowler to claim 1000 first-class wickets this century and just the fifth fast bowler after Andy Caddick (in 2005), Martin Bicknell (in 2004), Devon Malcolm (in 2002), and Wasim Akram (in 2001).
