Robinson was suspended from all international cricket by ECB after his racist and sexist tweets resurfaced.
Vaughan said that while the England Cricket Board dealt with this Ollie Robinson issue fairly, people saying the right-arm quick won’t ever play for England again was ridiculous and backed Robinson to make a comeback in the upcoming Test series against India.
Joe Root pushes for inclusivity in England’s cricket, says Ollie Robinson has shown genuine remorse
“I think the ECB have dealt with the Ollie Robinson situation in a fair way .. many will disagree .. but hearing some say he should never play again is utterly ridiculous .. he will play against India & should,” the Englishman wrote on Twitter.

While the UK Sports and Culture Minister Oliver Dowden felt that those racist remarks were made a long time ago, that too by a teenager, it was a bit harsh by ECB to suspend the fast bowler. UK PM Boris Johnson also agreed with Dowden.
“The Prime Minister is supportive of the comments from Oliver Dowden that he made via tweet this morning. As Oliver Dowden set out, these were comments made more than a decade ago [sic] written by someone as a teenager, for which they have rightly apologised,” ESPNCricinfo quoted Johnson's official spokesperson as saying.
Meanwhile, one more cricketer from the England team has come under the scanner for his allegedly racist remarks on Twitter post pacer Robinson's suspension for a similar reason.
