Former boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather heaped praise on the Indian cricket team for their remarkable performances in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
The Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team has performed exceptionally well so far in the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023, and the world’s richest boxer said that the Men in Blue are the best and they deserve to play the final. India will face Australia in the final on November 19 in Ahmedabad.
Mayweather, who remained undefeated in his career and won 15 major world championships, expressed his admiration for Virat Kohli and Team India ahead of the CWC 2023 final. He recently attended an NBA match with Vivek Ranadive, owner of the Sacramento Kings.
After the game, Mayweather congratulated the Indian cricket team and hailed them as the best in the final. Now, the video of the same is going viral on social media.
In a video shared by Ranadive on X, Mayweather said: “I want to say to the Indian cricket team, congratulations. You guys are the best for making it to the World Cup finals.”
