Aryan Dutt has impressed one and all with his exploits in the ongoing World Cup.
Dutt will get a chance to relish his dream during the last league match of this World Cup between India and Netherlands at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on November 12
“All wickets are important for me, but I would love to dismiss Kohli. I consider that wicket as the best gift in this World Cup,” Dutt was quoted as saying on the sidelines of an event on October 31.
Kohli has been in terrific form with the bat in the marquee event, amassing 354 runs from six innings at an average of 88.50, including one hundred and three half-centuries.
On the other hand, Aryan Dutt has impressed one and all with his exploits, claiming eight wickets from six matches at an economy rate of 4.96. The off-spinner has also bowled well in the powerplay when the batters try to take advantage of the fielding restrictions.
“I believe in my strengths and don’t worry much about the batters facing me. My focus is on consistently hitting the right lengths and using my speed and turn to outfox the batsmen,” he added.
Netherlands have defeated South Africa and Bangladesh in the showpiece tournament so far. They are due to face Afghanistan in Lucknow on November 3.
Aryan Dutt said his team has the determination to go all the way to the semi-final.
“We have plans in place for them. They are a challenging side and we are all committed to our journey towards the semi-finals,” he remarked.
