Former India captain Virat Kohli was seen letting frustration out on a sofa after his cheap dismissal in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 match against England. The encounter is being played on October 29, 2023 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.

Jos Buttler of England won the toss and chose to field first. Both India and England came with unchanged XIs in this match.

India lost Shubman Gill for 9 runs, being bowled by Chris Woakes and then Virat Kohli was out for a duck trying to hit an aerial shot off David Willey.

There were high expectations from Shreyas, but he, too, succumbed to his known weakness against short ball. He was out for four runs after attempting to pull a bigger delivery from Woakes.

Virat Kohli’s wicket was a big blow for India, as he was the best batter on this low bounce wicket of Lucknow. Kohli miscued Willey's short delivery, and Ben Stokes made no mistake in completing a straightforward catch at mid-off.

And Kohli himself knew this as he let out his frustration in the dressing room by slamming his head on the sofa.
