Pakistan will next face South Africa in Chennai in the ODI World Cup 2023.
Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Yousuf came out in support of Babar Azam, who has been criticized heavily after the Men in Green’s three losses in a row at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
Pakistan cricket team kicked off their Cricket World Cup 2023 with back-to-back wins against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka, but after that, they were crushed by India, Australia, and Afghanistan. With three defeats in a row, Pakistan's semifinal chances are now very slim.
Now, Yousuf claimed that the skipper, Azam, broke down into tears after Pakistan’s humiliating defeat against Afghanistan at the CWC 2023 in Chennai.
He also said that not only Babar but the entire team, coaches, and management are responsible for Pakistan’s poor show in the tournament.
