CWC 2023: WATCH- Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan on playing in Indian stadiums

Pakistan will next face Australia in the World Cup 2023 on October 20 in Bengaluru.

The Babar Azam-led Pakistan Cricket Team is currently in India, participating in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Almost every member of the Pakistan team is on their first tour of India, and they just want to enjoy every bit of their stay here during the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023.

Well, Pakistan is currently in the fourth spot on the CWC 2023 points table with two wins under their belt. The Men in Green will next face Australia in the World Cup 2023 on October 20 in Bengaluru.

Ahead of the match, Pakistani players like captain Babar, vice-captain Shadab Khan, opener Imam-ul-Haq, and star pacer Shaheen Afridi have shared their experience of playing in India at the CWC 2023.

Babar was in awe of India's cricketing atmosphere, as he said in a video posted by Star Sports X: “We are here for the first time, and we do not get these opportunities a lot. Every stadium in India has a different vibe and a different feel. So, trying to enjoy that wherever we go.”

Meanwhile, Shadab was really impressed with the hospitality in India, and they said that India’s cricketing atmosphere is just exciting. Shaheen said that the entire Pakistan wants their team to play good cricket, and they are trying to give their best.

The players mentioned wanting to gain an experience of a life-time while playing in the World Cup 2023 in India.

Notably, Pakistan team has so far played in Hyderabad and Ahmedabad in the tournament and now they are set to play in Bengaluru against Australia.
