Suryakumar Yadav was caught on camera eating food in dugout during IND v AUS CWC match.
The fan had commented on an X post which was a viral video of Suryakumar Yadav in an awkward and hilarious spot when the cameras had caught him eating food in the dugout during the India v Australia ICC World Cup 2023 match in Chennai.
The incident happened in the sixth over of the Indian innings when KL Rahul and Virat Kohli were trying to rescue India from a troubled situation. In between two balls, the camera turned towards the Indian dugout, where most members of the team were sitting nervously as the team found themselves in big trouble.
Suryakumar Yadav, who was not picked in the playing XI, was caught by the cameras gorging on some delicious food. He saw himself on the big screen and immediately froze up.
A fan shared a video of this incident and urged Suryakumar to hit fours and sixes instead of sitting in the dugout and eating food.
“Sir dugout mein baithke kya khate rehto ho, ground par jaake do chaar 6 maarke aao,” fan posted.
To this, Suryakumar Yadav hilarious replied: “Order mereko nahi Swiggy pe de bhai”
India has won all three of their matches thus far against Australia, Afghanistan, and most recently against Pakistan. India will now face Bangladesh in Pune on October 19.
