Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, having a seating capacity of 132,000 spectators, hosted the high-octane India versus Pakistan match of the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup on Saturday (October 14).

While India outclassed Pakistan in the marquee fixture, some Indian fans didn’t have a pleasant experience at the venue.

After the game, a number of Indian fans including Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela took to social media and posted that they lost their phones at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Rautela sought help from authorities and match attendees, claiming that she lost her real gold iPhone.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the actress wrote: "Lost my 24 carat real gold iphone at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad! ????️ If anyone comes across it, please help. Contact me ASAP! ???? #LostPhone #AhmedabadStadium #HelpNeeded #indvspak @modistadium @ahmedabadpolice Tag someone who can help".

Urvashi Rautela also shared the picture of the police complaint she lodged with the Ahmedabad Police.

Besides Rautela, several fans vented out their anger on social media after losing their phones at the venue.

Coming to the match, India kept their World Cup winning streak against Pakistan intact as they humiliated the arch-rivals by seven wickets in Ahmedabad.

Opting to bowl first, the hosts bundled out Pakistan for a paltry 191 in 42.5 overs. Jasprit Bumrah starred with the ball for India, claiming two wickets by conceding only 19 runs in his seven overs.

Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja also returned with a couple of scalps each.

In reply, Rohit Sharma made a mockery of Pakistan’s bowling attack as he slammed 86 off 63 balls to put his team on the brink of victory. After his dismissal, Shreyas Iyer (53*) and KL Rahul (19*) completed the formalities and took India over the line with 19.3 overs to spare.
