Ramiz Raja, former Pakistan opener and ex-PCB chief is being trolled heavily on social media after he arrived in India for his commentary duties for the ICC World Cup 2023. He was seen sharing his views ahead of the Pakistan vs. New Zealand warm-up game in Hyderabad on September 29.

Incidentally, the reason netizens made fun of Ramiz Raja was because of his statement when he was the PCB chief, and the whole situation with BCCI refusing to send the Indian team to Asia Cup in Pakistan was at its heated peak.

Raja had threatened that if India doesn’t come to Pakistan, then they will boycott the World Cup in India and no one will show interested in seeing the World Cup.

In a statement to Urdu News, Raja had said last year: "Our position is blunt that if they (Indian team) comes then only we will go to the World Cup, if they don't come then let them do it. Let them play without Pakistan. If Pakistan does not participate in the World Cup scheduled in India next year, who will see it?

Ultimately, Raja was removed from the post of PCB chief when Imran Khan was ousted as Pakistan PM. His replacement Najam Sethi negotiated a hybrid model of Asia Cup 2023 where Pakistan hosted 4 matches and the rest of the encounters were played in Sri Lanka.

And now when Ramiz Raja was seen smiling on TV while commentating during the Pakistan-New Zealand warmup game in Hyderabad alongside India legend Sunil Gavaskar.

The netizens were reminded of his words of boycotting the World Cup when he was the PCB chief and trolled him thoroughly on social media.

Here are some reactions:
