Tickets for India vs Pakistan World Cup encounter being reportedly sold for INR 19 lakhs.

Bollywood legend and a huge Indian cricket team fan Amitabh Bachchan received the golden ticket for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 from BCCI secretary Jay Shah. A legendary actor and a devoted cricket enthusiast, Bachchan is often seen cheering for India on social media and sometimes on the ground as well.

Amitabh Bachchan, who is a cricket enthusiast, was recently honored with the golden ticket, and BCCI's secretary Jay Shah presented him with the same.

"Golden ticket for our golden icons!BCCI Honorary Secretary @JayShah had the privilege of presenting our golden ticket to none other than the "Superstar of the Millennium," Shri @SrBachchan...A legendary actor and a devoted cricket enthusiast, Shri Bachchan's unwavering support for #TeamIndia continues to inspire us all. We're thrilled to have him join us for the @ICC @CricketWorldCup 2023,” BCCI posted.

Meanwhile, reports have suggested that tickets for the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan World Cup 2023 encounter are being sold at INR 19,51,580 by online ticketing platform, Viagogo. Tickets for India vs Australia are being sold for a maximum of INR 9,31,295.

The tickets for the marquee India-Pakistan clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad had a long wait of over six hours in queues. Meanwhile, tickets on the official ticketing partner BookMyShow were sold out within minutes.

However, CricketNext reported that there were still some tickets available on Viagogo and in comparison to the India vs Pakistan match, the seats for tournament opener Engvs.nd vs New Zealand in Ahmedabad on October 5 are ranging between Rs 1,000-Rs 6,000.

The pricing for the India vs Pakistan contest, on October 14, started at Rs 66,000 and went up to a jaw-dropping Rs 19 lakhs.

This has already been flagged off to the organizers of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023,” a Bookmyshow spokesperson told CricketNext.
