Virat Kohli won the 2011 World Cup as part of Indian team.
The legendary batter recalled how he and his teammates, under MS Dhoni, gave it their all to make sure legendary Sachin Tendulkar had a fitting farewell.

After regaining his form in 2022, Kohli has been wonderful in the ODI format scoring century in Bangladesh, and two against Sri Lanka at home.
He was also the captain of the side in the 2019 World Cup, when India lost to New Zealand in the semi-final.
This time however, Rohit Sharma will captain the side in the 2023 World Cup and Sehwag feels Kohli will look forward to contributing more with the bat to ensure India wins the World Cup.
"We played that World Cup for Tendulkar. If we won the World Cup, it would have been a great exit for Sachin paaji. Virat Kohli is the same now. Everybody will look to win the World Cup for him. He always gives more than 100 percent.
I think Virat Kohli is also looking to this World Cup. 100,000 people will watch you at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Virat knows how the pitches will behave. I am sure he will score a lot of runs and he will do his best to win the World Cup for India," Sehwag told Star Sports.
Virat Kohli won the 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy as part of the Indian team and as a captain had won five consecutive ICC Test maces, but he ended his captaincy tenure without an ICC trophy of his own.
