भारतीय चयनकर्ताओं ने वेस्टइंडीज दौरे के लिए टीम की घोषणा कर दी हैं, जहा टीम इंडिया को 3 टी20I, 3 वनडे और 2 टेस्ट मैच खेलना हैं| उन्होंने कुछ नियमित नामों के साथ ही कुछ युवाओं को भी दौरे के लिए टीम में शामिल किया हैं| लेकिन वनडे टीम में केदार जाधव का नाम सबसे ज्यादा हैरान करने वाला हैं|
जाधव ने विश्वकप 2019 में भारत के लिए 9 मैचों में से 6 मैच खेले थे, जहाँ उन्हें 4 मौकों पर बल्लेबाजी करने का मौका मिला था| उसमें से, उनका सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन अफगानिस्तान के खिलाफ खेल में था, जहाँ उन्होंने अर्धशतक बनाया था| उन्होंने एमएस धोनी के साथ मिलकर मैच जीतने वाला योगदान दिया था| लेकिन टीम ने टूर्नामेंट कई मोको पर गेंद के साथ जाधव की सेवाओं का लुफ्त नहीं उठाया था|
मुख्य चयनकर्ता एमएसके प्रसाद से जाधव के चयन के पीछे के तर्क के बारे में पूछा गया, जिस पर उन्होंने कहा कि जाधव ने विश्व कप में ऐसा कुछ भी गलत नहीं किया, जिससे की उन्हें टीम से बाहर रखा जाए|
साथ ही वे भविष्य के लिए अन्य विकल्पों पर भी ध्यान दे रहे हैं| चयनकर्ताओं ने टी20I टीम में वाशिंगटन सुंदर और क्रुणाल पांड्या को शामिल किया हैं, जहाँ दोनों ही स्पिन गेंदबाजी करते हैं और साथ ही बल्लेबाजी भी कर सकते हैं|
उन्होंने उल्लेख किया कि चयन समिति T20I टीम के खिलाड़ियों पर एकदिवसीय मैचों के लिए भी ध्यान दे रही है, इसलिए तब तक जाधव के साथ ही बने रहना होगा| वेस्टइंडीज दौरे के लिए एकदिवसीय टीम में जाधव के आश्चर्यजनक चयन पर फैंस ने भी ट्विटर पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी हैं, जिसे यहाँ देखा जा सकता हैं-

He is 34 so won’t be in plans for long.
Some youngster should have filled in for him and start building for future.
